THE
CHAMPIONS' CLUB FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to
obtain a member key card?
Yes. Please stop by
the Clubhouse concierge desk to register for your member key card.
Each family member age 16 and above will receive a personal key
card. It only takes a few minutes to complete the process. The card
gives you access at the main gate, clubhouse and pool entry. You
may also set up an account of funds on your key card for personal
care services and food and beverage ordered from Fox Hollow
Restaurant that is delivered to the Clubhouse. Please be sure to
pick up your copy of the Champions’ Club Rules and Regulations when
you register for the key card.
Does the member
key card allow access to the Clubhouse facility at all times?
The key cards are
programmed to allow access only during the hours of operation of the
Clubhouse, pool and tennis courts. Current hours of operation for
June, July and August are as follows:
Monday through
Friday – 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday – 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Hours are subject to change.
What if I lose my
key card?
Return to or call
the Club as soon as you realize it is missing so that we can
deactivate the card. We can then issue you a replacement card.
Please note: There is a $5 charge to replace a lost or
damaged key card one time. For subsequent replacement keys, there is
a $50 fee.
How do I schedule
personal care services?
Please call the
Clubhouse at (727) 375-8480 to schedule a massage with Jessica
Sutschek or a skin care treatment with Terri DeLellis. It is best
to call a few days ahead to reserve your preferred day and time.
For a personal fitness assessment and to set up a personal training
program, please contact Marc Ford at (727) 375-8480 or (727)
735-7819.
How do we
schedule tennis lessons or time on the court?
Tennis Pro Scott
Griffith conducts half hour and one-hour private lessons and clinics
for children and adults. A clinic session consists of 3 to 6
participants. You may call the Clubhouse for specific days and times
available. There is also a sign-up sheet in the Clubhouse for open
court time with 24-hour notice. We ask that you keep your court
time to 90 minutes or less when other players are waiting.
How do I schedule
a private function at the Clubhouse and is there a rental fee?
We welcome all
residents to use the Clubhouse facility for special occasions.
Please contact Sally Gregory at the Clubhouse to make arrangements.
There is no rental fee, but there is a Member Functions Agreement to
be completed and a $1,000 security deposit due prior to each special
event you plan. If you are bringing food and beverage to the
facility, the Clubhouse kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and
freezer for temporary storage.
What are the
rules in regard to bringing food and beverage to the Clubhouse or
pool area? May we have meals catered in?
You may bring
(non-catered) food and beverages to the facility, with the exception
of alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may only be ordered from
Fox Hollow Restaurant. All catering needs will be handled by Fox
Hollow Restaurant. No outside caterers are permitted.
The poolside gas
grill is available to reserve for your use as part of a private
member function. Also, please remember, absolutely no glass
on the pool deck. Broken glass would require closing the
pool deck and, if necessary, draining the pool.
May I bring my
own beer, wine or other alcoholic beverages to the Clubhouse or pool
deck?
No. Alcohol is NOT
permitted to be brought into this facility, which includes tennis
courts, pool area and Clubhouse. In accordance to the Florida
liquor license law, our affiliation with Fox Hollow Restaurant
requires Club members to purchase alcoholic beverages from Fox
Hollow Restaurant for delivery or takeout.
What services
does Fox Hollow Restaurant offer the Club members?
The Clubhouse and
pool area are equipped with call buttons to order food and beverage
from Fox Hollow. Just let them know if you want “takeout” or if you
want your order delivered poolside or within the Clubhouse.
Fox Hollow offers
full catering services for your special occasions here at the
Clubhouse. You may contact Courtney Fox direct at (727) 376-6333
ext. 205 to discuss banquet and menu options. Fox Hollow also has
onsite banquet facilities if you choose to have your private party
there.
Please note:
There are times when servers may not be able to deliver your order
or delivery may be delayed, such as during peak lunch and dinner
hours, when they become extremely busy in the restaurant. There may
also be occasions when the restaurant will not be available to
deliver orders due to special banquet events at their facility.
Is there a
designated smoking area?
There are no
designated smoking areas in the Clubhouse area, which includes all
areas enclosed by the outermost wall and fence that contains the
pool/pool area, parking lot, lawn, tennis courts and surrounding
areas. This is a smoke-free environment and we appreciate your
cooperation in this matter.
What is the level
of security at the Clubhouse?
There is a
continuous video security monitoring system, which includes the
Clubhouse, pool area, tennis courts, veranda and parking lot. Your
member key card also provides security. When you scan your card at
the Clubhouse front desk, we get an identity check and a record of
your visit.
How are resident
members notified of any announcements regarding Clubhouse
activities, rules, procedures, etc?
Weekly e-mails are
being sent to Champions’ Club members to keep everyone informed. If
you are not receiving these messages, please notify us with your
e-mail address.
