Land development begins at Champions’ Club
April 3, 2003

TRINITY, FLA. – Land development is under way at The Champions’ Club, an exclusive, gated golf-course community of executive and estate residences overlooking the golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club in southwest Pasco County.

According to Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises, the com-munity’s developer, land work here is slated for completion this spring, while new-home construction should commence next month.

More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the 18-hole championship golf course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation areas.  Residential pricing will range from the $400s to more than $2 million including homesite.

The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages.  Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet of living space.

Homes in The Champions’ Club will be built by some of the best-known home builders in the Tampa Bay area.

The Champions’ Club will feature a $2 million, 10,000-square-foot, Mediterranean style clubhouse, which will provide a lounge, dining room, fully equipped fitness center, his-and-her locker facilities, a resort-style pool, sun deck, and tennis courts.  A compre-hensive program of activities – including catered events – will be coordinated by a club concierge.

Fox Hollow Golf Club opened in 1994, and features the last golf course designed and built by Robert Trent Jones Sr.  The Tampa Tribune has rated Fox Hollow as one of the top-three courses in the Tampa Bay area.  Fox Hollow has hosted several USGA and Senior PGA qualifying tournaments.

The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of Trinity.  One of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area, Trinity also is being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.
