Campagna Homes selected for Champions’ Club
May 15, 2003TRINITY, FLA. – Campagna
Homes Inc. will offer its award-winning, custom-designed estate residences
in Floresta, one of seven Mediterranean-themed villages in the private, golf
course community of The Champions’ Club in southwest Pasco County.
Providing at least 3,600 square feet of living space, Campagna’s homes
here are expected to be priced from $700,000 including homesite, says Dan
Aldridge, vice presi-dent of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s
developer.
Based in Safety Harbor, Fla., Campagna Homes was founded in 1953 by
Samuel Campagna Jr. In 1985, Michael Campagna took the helm of this family
owned firm, which has built more than 700 custom-designed homes in exclusive
communities throughout the Tampa Bay area.
For decades, Campagna homes have received numerous awards including best
in show, best kitchen and best master suite from Tampa Bay-area parades of
homes.
Campagna’s model home here will be its 4,340-square-foot Villa Capri
design. This four-bedroom, two-story residence will overlook the golf
course and feature a study, loft, game room and covered deck.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox
Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The golf course is the last one
designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent
Jones Sr. The Tampa Tribune has rated Fox Hollow as one of the top-three
courses in the Tampa Bay area.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the golf
course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation
areas.
Homes in certain villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of
living space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500
square feet of living space. Residential pricing will range from the $400s
to more than $2 million including homesite.
Homes in The Champions’ Club will be built by some of the best-known
home-building companies in the Tampa Bay area. Land work here is nearly
complete, and new-home construction should begin soon.
The Champions’ Club will feature a $2 million, 10,000-square-foot,
Mediterranean-style clubhouse that will provide an intimate lounge, dining
room, fully equipped fitness center, his-and-her locker facilities, a
resort-style pool, sun deck, and tennis courts. Community activities here
will be coordinated by a club concierge.
The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of
Trinity, one of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area.
