Nohl Crest Homes chosen for Champions' Club
June 5, 2003

TRINITY, FLA. - Nohl Crest Homes has been selected to build in The Champions' Club, an exclusive, gated golf-course community in southwest Pasco County.

Based in Oldsmar, Fla., the firm will offer a selection of nine floor plans in the village of Salano, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community's developer. Priced from the mid-$300s including homesite, these designs will provide between 2,800 and 3,900 square feet of living space, he adds.

Nohl Crest's model here will be the 3,406-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bath Carrington design, which boasts a study, conservatory and a second-floor bonus room.

Founded in 1985 by Peter Tibma and Kenneth Emery, Nohl Crest Homes has built more than 1,800 custom and semi-custom homes throughout the Tampa Bay area. Nohl Crest has been honored for its design-and-construction achievements with more than 150 industry awards. Moreover, its sales volume ranks the company among the top two per-cent of all home builders nationwide, reports Professional Builder magazine.

Nohl Crest also has earned three Aurora Awards from the Southeast Building Conference for best single-family home and best kitchen among homes in its price range.

The Champions' Club is a private community overlooking the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The golf course is the last one designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. The Tampa Tribune has rated it as one of the Tampa Bay-area's top-three courses. Fox Hollow has hosted several USGA and Senior PGA qualifying tournaments.

More than half of this community's 368 homesites will border the golf course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation areas.

The Champions' Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet of living space. Residential pricing will range from about $400,000 to more than $2 million including homesite.

Homes in The Champions' Club will be built by some of the best-known home-building companies in the Tampa Bay area. Land work here is nearly complete, and new-home construction should begin soon.

The Champions' Club will feature a $2 million, 10,000-square-foot, Mediterranean-style clubhouse that will provide a lounge, dining room, fully equipped fitness center, his-and-her locker facilities, a resort-style pool, sun deck and tennis courts. Community activities here will be coordinated by a club concierge.
