Bayfair Homes to build in The Champions’ Club
June 26, 2003
TRINITY, FLA. – Bayfair Homes will offer its award-winning, custom-designed
estate residences in The Champions’ Club, a private golf-course community in
southwest Pasco County.
Building in the village of Floresta, Bayfair’s homes will range from
3,500 square feet of living space with prices starting in the $600s
including homesite, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith
Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer.
Founded in 1989 and based in Tampa, Fla., Bayfair is owned and operated
by J. Michael Morris and David Seidenberg. Its residences can be found in
exclusive comm-unities throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Bayfair received national recognition when one of its residences was
featured in House Beautiful magazine, but it also has been honored on the
state and regional levels. Locally, Bayfair has earned five Awards of
Excellence for residential development from the Hillsborough County
City-County Planning Commission. It also has won numerous awards in Tampa
Bay-area parade of homes competitions.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox
Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The golf course is the last one
designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent
Jones Sr. The Tampa Tribune has rated Fox Hollow as one of the top-three
courses in the Tampa Bay area.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the golf
course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation
areas.
The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages.
Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living
space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square
feet of living space. Residential pricing will range from the $400s to more
than $2 million including homesite.
Homes in The Champions’ Club will be built by some of the best-known
homebuilding companies in the Tampa Bay area. Land work here is nearly
complete, and new-home construction will begin soon.
The Champions’ Club will feature a $2 million, 10,000-square-foot,
Mediterranean-style clubhouse that will provide an intimate lounge, dining
room, fully equipped fitness center, his-and-her locker facilities, a
resort-style pool, sun deck, and tennis courts. Community activities here
will be coordinated by a club concierge.
The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of
Trinity, one of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area.
Trinity also is being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.
