Nohl Crest begins model in Champions’ Club
August 4, 2003
TRINITY, FLA. – Nohl Crest Homes has started building its
3,532-square-foot Carrington model in Salano, a gated village in the
exclusive, golf-course community of The Champions’ Club in southwest Pasco
County.
The Carrington – priced from $390,000 including homesite – is
a four-bedroom, three-bath design that features a three-car garage, study,
conservatory and upstairs bonus room, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of
Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer. The model also
will include an optional pool and fourth bath.
Entering the home via double glass doors, guests will see the
pool and lanai through a set of windows at the far end of the 13-by-23
foot living room, adjoining the dining area. A pair of french doors will
provide access to the study.
A column-accented archway will lead to an island kitchen,
boasting Corian® countertops, Jenn-Aire appliances, a walk-in pantry and a
bi-level breakfast bar.
The kitchen will be open to the 18-by-19-foot family room, which will
provide pool access via sliding glass doors. A double-sided
fireplace in the family room will be shared by the adjoining conservatory,
featuring intersecting walls of windows. A guest suite will be
accessible from the conservatory.
Across the lanai will be another set of sliding glass doors
opening into the 13-by-19-foot master suite. The suite features
his-and-her walk-in closets, a dressing area, and a master bath with two
vanities, a garden tub and separate shower.
The Carrington is one of seven designs offered by Nohl Crest
in this village. Floor plans range from 2,800 to 3,900 square feet of
living space, and are priced from $345,000 including homesite. The model
is expected to open early next year.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf
course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The course is the
last one designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert
Trent Jones Sr.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border
the golf course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded
conservation areas.
The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed
villages. Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet
of living space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of
3,500 square feet of living space. Residential pricing will range from the
$400s to more than $2 million including homesite.
Homes in The Champions’ Club will be built by some of the best-known
homebuilding companies in the Tampa Bay area. Land work here is
nearly complete and new-home construction will begin soon.
The Champions’ Club will feature a $2 million,
10,000-square-foot, Mediterranean-style clubhouse that will provide an
intimate lounge, dining room, fully equipped fitness center, his-and-her
locker facilities, a resort-style pool, sun deck and tennis courts.
