Bayfair model under way in The Champions’ Club
TRINITY, FLA. – Bayfair Homes has started building its $1.1 million,
two-story Mediterranean-style Madrid estate model home on the golf course at
The Champions’ Club, a private, golf-course community in southwest Pasco
County.
The 4,256-square-foot model – in the village of Floresta – provides five
bedrooms and 4.5 baths, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith
Enterprises, the community’s developer. The model is accented by
12-foot-high ceilings, hardwood floors and arches throughout. It is
scheduled to open in the spring.
Featuring a main entrance – and separate, private entrance for family
members – the Madrid’s side-loaded, three-car garage is just one highlight
of an exterior that also features Mediterranean-style columns, railings and
ornate trim.
The covered main entrance is flanked by two pairs of columns that visitors
pass before entering the home’s 14-foot-square grand foyer with recessed
ceiling and central marble table. To one side of the foyer, a pair of french
doors leads to a study – with built-in bookcase. Directly ahead is the
14-by-17-foot living room whose 14-foot-wide bay win-dow affords an
expansive view of a densely wooded conservation area and nearby fairway.
Also off the foyer is an anteroom with french doors that open into the
master suite, which spans an entire wing of the home. Just inside, is a
small reception area. In one direction is the 14-by-20-foot bedroom, while
the fitness room, his-and-her walk-in closets, and master bath are in the
other direction. The master suite offers a recessed ceiling and a french
door opening to the lanai, while the master bath features a marble floor,
garden tub and separate shower.
Across the lanai from the master suite, the 18-by-18-foot family room is
open to the home’s island kitchen with granite countertops, custom-wood
cabinetry and a bi-level breakfast bar. The family room also provides access
to an outdoor living area with fire-place, kitchen and separate
entertainment center.
A game room is accessible from the family room, while a guest suite – with
bath – can be reached via a private hallway off the family room.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox
Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The course is the last one designed
and built by world-renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. The
Tampa Tribune has rated Fox Hollow as one of the top-three courses in the
Tampa Bay area.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the golf
course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation
areas.
The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes
in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space,
while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet of
living space. Residential pricing will range from the $400s to more than $2
million including homesite.
