Builders rack up $28M in sales before models open
TRINITY, FLA. – While waiting for completion of their model-home centers,
home builders at The Champions’ Club – an exclusive, gated golf-course
community in south-west Pasco County – generated sales of more than $28
million.
According to June Place, director of sales for Champions’ Club Realty Inc.,
home buyers were so anxious to move into this private community that they
signed 47 new-home contracts.
Residential pricing ranges from the $400s to more than $2 million including
home-site in the community’s seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes in
some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space, while
other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet of living
space.
Executive model homes by Samuelsen Builders – the 3,401-square-foot Kristen
design – and M/I Homes – the 3,897-square-foot San Remo Ultra V – debuted
recently in the villages of Marabella and Cielo, respectively. In addition,
Costanza Homes has opened its 4,071-square-foot estate model – the Bellemead
– in the village of Floresta.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox
Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The golf course is the last one
designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent
Jones Sr. The Tampa Tribune has rated Fox Hollow as one of the top-three
courses in the Tampa Bay area.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the golf
course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation
areas.
Homes in The Champions’ Club are being built by some of the best-known
building companies in the Tampa Bay area. Aside from Samuelsen Builders, M/I
Homes and Costanza Homes, they include Bayfair Homes, Campagna Homes, Greene
Builders, Nohl Crest Homes and Arthur Rutenberg Homes.
The Champions’ Club will feature a Mediterranean-style clubhouse that will
provide an intimate lounge, dining room, fully equipped fitness center,
his-and-her locker facilities, a resort-style pool, sun deck, and tennis
courts. Community activities here will be coordi-nated by a club concierge.
