Arthur Rutenberg Homes model nears completion
TRINITY, FLA. - Award-winning Arthur Rutenberg Homes - through its
Catenac-Gulfwynd franchise - is putting finishing touches on the $700,000
Bonaire model at the exclusive, golf-course community of The Champions' Club
in southwest Pasco County.
Situated in the gated village of Salano, this four-bedroom model will
provide 3,237 square feet of living space, as well as an optional
ceramic-tile cabana with outdoor kitchen and stone fireplace, says Dan
Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., The Champions' Club
developer. This is the first time the Bonaire has been built as a model.
The Bonaire's foyer provides an expansive view of the home's lanai, pool and
spa through the living room's sliding glass doors and is flanked by a dining
room and den.
An island kitchen - with breakfast bar, granite countertops, recessed
ceiling and morning room - adjoins the living room and overlooks the lanai.
It is open to an 18-by-19-foot leisure room accented by a recessed ceiling
and built-in media cabinets. The room's most striking feature, however, is
how its intersecting sets of sliding glass doors retract to completely open
the room to the lanai, so the ceiling seems to be suspended in mid-air.
Across the lanai is the 13-by-18-foot master suite - with recessed ceiling -
and a hall flanked by his-and-her walk-in closets leading to the master
bath. The bath provides a garden tub, separate shower, twin vanities and
compartmentalized toilet.
The Bonaire is one of 12 Arthur Rutenberg floor plans offered at Salano.
Homes in Salano must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space, and
all Arthur Rutenberg designs can be customized to buyers' specifications.
The Champions' Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox
Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The golf course is the last one
designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent
Jones Sr. The Tampa Tribune has rated Fox Hollow as one of the top-three
courses in the Tampa Bay area.
More than half of this community's 368 homesites will border the golf
course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation
areas.
The Champions' Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages.
Residen-tial pricing will range from the $400s to more than $2 million
including homesite.
The Champions' Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of
Trinity, also being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.
To reach The Champions' Club from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north
to Trinity Boulevard and turn right. (From points north, take Little Road
south to Trinity Boulevard and turn left.) From Tampa, take the Suncoast
Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.
