Bayfair puts finishing touches on $1 million model
APRIL 12, 2004
TRINITY, FLA. – Bayfair Homes’ $1.1 million, Mediterranean-style estate
model home in the gated village of Floresta is nearing completion at The
Champions’ Club in southwest Pasco County and is expected to open by early
summer.
The five-bedroom, 4.5-bath Madrid model is on a golf-course homesite. This
two-story design is accented by a barrel-tile roof, old-world-inspired
railings and a column-accented grand entrance, says Dan Aldridge, vice
president of Adam Smith Enterprises, the community’s developer.
The 4,256-square-foot Madrid’s grand foyer is open to a column-accented
reception hall, boasting a 12-foot-high ceiling and crown molding. Ahead, an
arched pass-through opens to the14-by-17-foot living room, which offers an
expansive view of the home’s pool and nearby fairway through a 14-foot-wide
bay window.
A second arch to one side of the living room leads to the formal dining room
with hardwood flooring, an art niche and a view of the lanai through a large
window. Adjacent to the dining room, a short hall – with staircase to the
home’s secondary bedrooms – leads to an island kitchen with granite
countertops, custom-wood cabinetry and bi-level breakfast bar. The kitchen
is open to the 18-by-20-foot family room, which provides access to an
outdoor living space – with a fireplace and kitchen – as well as a game room
and private guest suite.
The master suite spans an entire wing of the home off the living room. The
suite has a small reception area, a 14-by-20-foot bedroom and a fitness
room. The master bath features a marble floor, garden tub and separate
shower.
The Champions’ Club is a private community overlooking the 18-hole
championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club. The golf course is the
last one designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert
Trent Jones Sr. The Tampa Tribune has rated Fox Hollow one of the top-three
courses in the Tampa Bay area.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the golf
course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation
areas.
The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes
in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space,
while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet of
living space. Residential pricing will range from the $400s to more than $2
million including homesite.
To reach The Champions’ Club from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north
to Trinity Boulevard and turn right. (From points north, take Little Road
south to Trinity Boulevard and turn left.) From Tampa, take the Suncoast
Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.
