Bayfair's $1.23 Million Estate Model Home Opens
JUNE 11, 2004

TRINITY, FLA. – A golf-front estate model home by Bayfair Homes has opened in the village of Floresta at The Champions' Club, an award-winning private community in southwest Pasco County.

The two-story, $1.23 million Mediterranean-style Madrid model provides 4,256 square feet of living space, according to Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community's developer.

This five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home is accented by a barrel-tile roof, old-world-inspired railings and a column-accented grand entrance, which opens into an equally impressive reception area.

To one side of the reception area, a hall leads to the master suite, which spans an entire wing of the home. The suite – with sitting area – offers private access to the lanai and pool. It also has a private retreat – which can be used as a fitness room – his-and-her walk-in closets, and a marble-tile bath with twin vanities, garden tub, and walk-in shower.

At the far end of the reception area is an arched entrance to the 14-by-17-foot living room – featuring a 14-foot-wide bay window – and adjoining dining area.

Off the reception area, a staircase leads to three bedrooms, two baths and a loft. The family room also is accessible from the reception area, and is open to an island kitchen. The meandering lines of the family room's walls of windows provide a view of the golf course as well as the home's garden, lanai and outdoor living space. The latter includes a large, gas fireplace and outdoor kitchen with built-in grill. Just off the family room is a separate 16-by-18-foot game room with built-in wet bar.

More than half of the homesites at The Champions' Club border the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, designed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr.

The Champions' Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet of living space. Residential pricing ranges from the $400s to more than $2 million including homesite.

The community will feature a Mediterranean-style clubhouse that will provide an intimate lounge, dining room, fully equipped fitness center, his-and-her locker facilities, a resort-style pool, sun deck, and tennis courts.

To reach The Champions' Club from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north to Trinity Boulevard and turn right. (From points north, take Little Road south to Trinity Boulevard and turn left.) From Tampa, take the Suncoast Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.

Bayfair Homes' model center in Floresta is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. For more information on Bayfair Homes at The Champions' Club, call (727) 376-3900 or visit championsclubfla.com.
