Greene Builders Debuts Two Executive Models
JUNE 18, 2004
TRINITY, FLA. – A pair of Mediterranean-inspired executive model homes by
Greene Builders has been completed and opened to the public at The
Champions' Club, a private, golf-course community in southwest Pasco County.
Situated in the gated village of Marabella, the 3,031-square-foot Valencia
model pro-vides three bedrooms and three baths, while the 3,145-square-foot
Seville is a four-bedroom design with three baths, says Dan Aldridge, vice
president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community's developer. Both
homes are priced from $425,000 including homesite.
The Valencia's column-accent foyer ends at a 16-by-18-foot living room
featuring an octagonal tray ceiling and pocketing glass doors that open to a
lanai and pool. To one side of the foyer are double french doors to the den.
In the living room is a double-arched entrance to the formal dining room,
which, in turn, leads to the island kitchen and circular, glass-walled
breakfast area. Open to the kitchen is the 17-by-19-foot family room with
8-foot-high sliding glass doors that provide access to the covered porch and
pool area.
Across the lanai from the family room is the 14-by-19-foot master suite,
where an angular alcove of windows bathes the room in sunlight. A hall
flanked by walk-in closets leads to a master bath with marble countertops,
garden tub and large walk-in shower.
In the Seville, a column-accented entry welcomes guests into a foyer that is
open to a 19-by-20-foot living room with octagonal tray ceiling and
pocketing-glass doors to the lanai and pool. A formal dining room and
separate den are off the living room, as is the master suite, which spans an
entire wing of the home and features an octagonal recessed ceiling.
The suite also provides a glass-walled seating area overlooking the pool. A
hall connecting the suite with the master bath boasts a mirrored dressing
area, as well as his-and-her walk-in closets. The bath features two more
individual dressing areas with vani-ties; a garden tub and separate shower.
Across the lanai is the 17-by-22-foot family room, accessible via
8-foot-high sliding glass doors. The family room is open to an island
kitchen and the breakfast area.
The Champions' Club is composed of seven Mediterranean-themed villages. More
than half of this community's 368 homesites border the 18-hole championship
golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, the last one designed and built by
world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. Other homesites
overlook lakes or conservation areas. Pricing here ranges from the $400s to
more than $2 million including homesite.
To reach The Champions' Club from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north
to Trinity Boulevard and turn right. (From points north, take Little Road
south to Trinity Boulevard and turn left.) From Tampa, take the Suncoast
Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.
Greene Builders' model homes in Marabella are open Monday-Saturday from 10
a.m.-5 p.m. and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday. For more information about Greene
