$4M clubhouse at The Champions' Club topped off
AUGUST 23, 2005
TRINITY, FLA. – Vertical construction is complete and the barrel-tile roof
will be in place soon on the 10,000-square-foot clubhouse at The Champions’
Club, a private golf-course community in southwest Pasco County.
The $4 million clubhouse – featuring Mediterranean-inspired architecture
such as Tuscan stone columns, arched windows and travertine stone floors –
will provide a catered dining area and state-of-the-art workout facility
with his-and-her locker rooms, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam
Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer.
The clubhouse, designed by FleishmanGarcia (sic), the Tampa-based
architectural, planning and design firm, is scheduled for completion in
mid-December.
Adjoining the clubhouse will be resort-style amenities including a pool
complex with heated, competition-size pool whose bottom is emblazoned with
The Champions’ Club logo; an outdoor entertainment pavilion featuring a
large communal fireplace, outdoor kitchen with grill, restrooms; and a
tennis complex with two lighted courts.
Custom-designed wrought-iron fencing will surround the pool and
entertainment areas adjacent to a grass-covered event area for outdoor
activities.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox
Hollow Golf Club. More than half of its 368 homesites will border the golf
course, while many others will overlook nearly 45 acres of lakes or heavily
wooded conservation areas.
The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages.
Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living
space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square
feet of living space. Residential pricing ranges from the $400s to more than
$2 million including homesite.
Homes in The Champions’ Club are being built by some of the best-known
home-building companies in the Tampa Bay area including Bayfair, Campagna
Homes, Costanza Homes, Greene Builders, M/I Homes, Nohl Crest Homes, Arthur
Rutenberg Homes and Samuelsen Builders.
The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of
Trinity, one of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area.
Trinity also is being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.
