$1.4M Arthur Rutenberg model opens in Mirasol

January 9, 2007

TRINITY, FLA. – Arthur Rutenberg Homes has opened a $1.4 million model home – an expanded version of its award-winning San Marino II design – on a lakefront homesite in the village of Mirasol at The Champions’ Club in southwest Pasco County.

This marks the first model in Mirasol by Catenac Custom Homes, Inc., an inde-pendently owned franchise of Arthur Rutenberg Homes, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer. Aside from Mirasol, Catenac also can build in the villages of Floresta, Siena and Florencia at The Champions’ Club.

For this estate residence, a 715-square-foot second floor bonus room and full bath were added to the standard home design. Also added was a covered balcony to provide views of the lake as well as the 18-hole championship Fox Hollow Golf Course beyond. Base price of the home is in the mid-$800s including homesite.

The customized home, with 4,607 square feet of living space, has a stone-accented elevation with a three-car motorcourt garage. There are four bedrooms and 4.5 baths, plus a den off the master suite, which features a bay window overlooking the pool and lanai. A split-bedroom design, the home has a built-in study center and two computer workstations in the secondary bedroom wing hallway.

The Champions’ Club is a gated community overlooking the Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed golf course, which opened in 1994. More than half of this community’s 368 homesites border the course, while many others overlook nearly 45 acres of lakes or heavily wooded conservation areas.

The Champions’ Club features a Mediterranean-style clubhouse with a resort-style pool, sun deck, tennis courts and a state-of-the-art workout facility with his-and-her locker facilities.

To reach The Champions’ Club welcome center from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north to Trinity Boulevard, turn right and drive three miles to The Champions’ Club entrance on the right. (From points north, take U.S. 19 south to Tarpon Springs Road and turn left.) Enter the community on Tamarind Boulevard, then turn left on Robert Trent Jones Parkway. Proceed to the village of Floresta on the right, turn in and follow signs to The Champions’ Club welcome center. Another route is to take Little Road south, and turn left on Trinity Boulevard.

From Tampa, take the Suncoast Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.
