Arthur Rutenberg’s $1.6M model starts in Mirasol
May 16, 2008
TRINITY, FLA. – Construction is under way on a customized $1.6 million Arthur Rutenberg Homes estate model in Mirasol, one of seven Mediterranean-themed villages in The Champions’ Club – a private, golf course community in southwest Pasco County.
Catenac Custom Homes, an independently owned and operated franchise of Arthur Rutenberg Homes, plans to complete the 4,712-square-foot model home by January, reports Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer. The model’s price includes a 90-foot-wide lakeside homesite overlooking the 16th hole of the championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club.
Based on Arthur Rutenberg’s Mirasol II design, the model will feature a Tuscan elevation accented with cultured stone. Its exterior was modified to incorporate a motor court flanked by twin two-car garages. The home boasts four bedrooms and four baths.
Plans also call for the model home to feature an elaborate outdoor entertainment area, forgoing a traditional screen enclosure for an open, custom pool with cabana; as well as a two-sided gas fireplace and 12-foot-tall waterfall. In Mirasol, where about 30 homesites remain, Catenac will offer Arthur Rutenberg homes with at least 3,800 square feet of living space, priced from the mid-$700s. Catenac also builds homes at Siena in The Champions’ Club from the mid-$600s including homesite.
More than half The Champions’ Club’s 368 homesites border the golf course, while others overlook nearly 45 acres of lakes or conservation areas. The community features a Mediterranean-style clubhouse with a resort-style pool, sun deck, tennis courts and a state-of-the-art workout facility.
The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of Trinity, one of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area. Trinity also is being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.
