Champions’ Club model a double Parade winner
MAY 17, 2006
TRINITY, FLA. – Greene Builders’ Seville model at The Champions’ Club, a private golf-course community in southwest Pasco County, walked off with two major honors in the 2006 Pasco Building Association Parade of Homes.
The 3,145-square-foot Seville won for best exterior and best kitchen for homes priced $420,000-$500,000, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer.
A family owned building company run by David Greene, his wife and daughter, Greene Builders has been building homes in Florida for more than 40 years, and has re-ceived a number of the industry’s most prestigious local awards, including Pasco Builder of the Year.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. The semi-private golf course is the last one de-signed and built by world-renowned golf-course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites border the golf course, while many others overlook nearly 45 acres of lakes, or heavily wooded conservation areas.
The Champions’ Club comprises seven Mediterranean-themed villages with homes built by some of the best-known homebuilding companies in the Tampa Bay area, including Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Bayfair, Campagna Homes, Costanza Homes, M/I Homes, Marc Rutenberg Homes, Mark Maconi Homes, Nohl Crest Homes and Samuelsen Builders, in addition to Greene Builders.
The Champions’ Club features a Mediterranean-style clubhouse with a resort-style pool, sun deck, tennis courts and a state-of-the-art workout facility with his-and-her locker facilities.
The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of Trinity, one of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area. Trinity also is being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.
To reach The Champions’ Club welcome center from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north to Trinity Boulevard, turn right and drive three miles to The Champions’ Club entrance on the right. (From points north, take U.S. 19 south to Tarpon Springs Road and turn left.) Enter the community on Tamarind Boulevard, then turn left on Robert Trent Jones Parkway. Proceed to the village of Floresta on the right, turn in and follow signs to The Champions’ Club welcome center. Another route is to take Little Road south, and turn left on Trinity Boulevard.
From Tampa, take the Suncoast Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.
