to build in Trinity East

MAY 21, 2008

TRINITY, FLA. – Samuelsen Builders has been selected to offer its award-winning residential designs at Trinity East in Trinity, the $1.5-billion master-planned community in southwest Pasco County.

Samuelsen – which has built more than 600 homes in Trinity during the past 15 years – will offer a portfolio of floor plans ranging from 1,400 to more than 3,000 square feet of living space in Trinity East, where many homesites overlook nature preserves, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., Trinity's developer.

Aside from offering existing home designs, Samuelsen also will custom design a home to buyers’ specifications. Pricing in Trinity East is expected to start in the mid- to upper-$200s including homesite. Standard homesites in Trinity East are 50 by 120 feet. Samuelsen plans to begin building a model home in Trinity East later this year, and details are expected to be announced shortly, Aldridge adds.

Based in Trinity, Samuelsen Builders was founded nearly 50 years ago by Richard Samuelsen. During the past 20 years, the firm has built homes in 63 Tampa Bay-area communities, including Trinity.

Trinity stretches from the Pasco-Pinellas county line north to State Road 54, and from Seven Springs Boulevard east to Gunn Highway. One of the largest communities of its kind in Pasco County history, Trinity also is among the largest communities being developed in the Tampa Bay area, says Rose Residential Reports, which tracks local new-home sales.

When completed, Trinity – and the active-adult community of Heritage Springs located within it – will provide more than 4,200 single-family homes and 900 multifamily residences. Prices at Trinity begin in the $250s including homesite.

Trinity's master plan includes shopping centers, office buildings and a commerce park. Amenities include a multi-million-dollar YMCA, the Morton Plant Mease medical complex, and an elementary school. The community also features a range of recreational facilities, a number of small neighborhood parks and the 18-hole Fox Hollow championship golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and rated by the Tampa Tribune as one of the Tampa Bay area’s top three courses.

To reach Trinity East, take U.S. 19 or Little Road to State Road 54 and head east. Make a right onto Community Drive, which dead ends at the community entrance.
