Samuelsen model is big winner at parade of homes
MAY 31, 2006
TRINITY, FLA. – Samuelsen Builders received four awards during the 2006 Pasco Building Association’s Parade of Homes for its Oslo model home at The Champions’ Club, a gated golf-course community in southwest Pasco County.
The Oslo model was honored for the best floor plan, best kitchen, and most innovative and creative design, as well as being named best overall for homes priced $801,000-$900,000, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer. Its basic floor plan is priced from the $750s including homesite.
The 4,156-square-foot Oslo is a Mediterranean-style home with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a three-car garage. Its 14-by-24-foot, first-floor master suite boasts a tray ceil-ing, an angular wall of windows overlooking the pool and lanai area, and his-and-her walk-in closets. The master bath has twin vanities, a garden tub and separate shower.
Across the lanai from the master suite are four-panel sliding glass doors that open to a 17-by-24-foot family room with recessed ceiling. The family room is open to the island kitchen, which boasts granite countertops, custom wood cabinets, a ceramic-tile floor, and stainless-steel appliances. The adjoining breakfast area has a mitered-glass window and views of the pool.
Upstairs is a game room with a bar and half bath, a children’s retreat and a home theater with an adjoining storage room.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, and comprises seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,800 square feet of living space. Residential pricing ranges from the $700s to more than $2 million including homesite. The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of Trinity, one of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area. Trinity also is being de-veloped by Adam Smith Enterprises.
