Champions’ Club builders win
two top parade honors

May 7, 2008

TRINITY, FLA. – Campagna Homes and Costanza Homes each earned grand awards for their estate model homes in The Champions’ Club during the recent 2008 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes™, sponsored by the Tampa Bay Builders Association.

These latest accolades join a long list of parade-of-homes honors racked up by home builders at The Champions’ Club, which has been honored every year since it opened, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of community developer Adam Smith Enterprises Inc.

Costanza Homes earned its grand award for the Summerfield Grand estate model home in the village of Mirasol at this gated golf-course community in southwest Pasco County. It was the top prize for single-family homes priced $1 million-$1.499 million.

The 4,565-square-foot design features four bedrooms and 3.5 baths, and boasts golf course and water views. It has 12-foot-high ceilings in the main living areas, and is accented by crown molding and marble floors. It features a three-car garage and an exterior elevation highlighted with gothic windows.

At the same time, Campagna Homes’ top prize ... also a grand award ... was earned by its green-certified Villa Sorrento estate model home in the village of Florencia for the category of single-family homes priced $1.5 million-1.999 million.

The 5,763-square-foot estate offers views of a lake and three fairways of the Fox Hollow Golf Course, while providing five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The home’s two-story, 20-foot-diameter rotunda foyer – accented by plaster crown moldings, maple beams and ceiling panels – boasts a spiral staircase with stained-oak treads and wrought-iron railings. The home also has an elevator.

More than half of the 368 homesites at The Champions’ Club border the golf course, while many overlook nearly 45 acres of lakes or heavily wooded conservation areas. The Champions’ Club comprises seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,850 square feet of living space, while other villages

require homes with a minimum of 3,800 square feet of living space. Residential pricing ranges from the $700s to more than $3 million including homesite.

The Champions’ Club features a Mediterranean-style clubhouse with a resort-style pool, sun deck, tennis courts and a state-of-the-art workout facility with his-and-her locker facilities.

The welcome center is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
