Greene and Samuelsen win
parade of homes awards
MAY 9, 2005
TRINITY, FLA. – Greene Builders and Samuelsen Builders earned high honors during the 2005 Pasco County Parade of Homes for their models at The Champions’ Club, a private golf-course community in southwest Pasco County.
Greene’s Seville model in the gated village of Marabella was named best overall for homes priced $601,000-$700,000, while Samuelsen’s award – in the same price category – was for best kitchen and best pool in its Oslo model, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer.
The 3,145-square-foot Seville features a column-accented entry that opens to a living room with octagonal tray ceiling and pocketing-glass doors that lead to the screened lanai and pool.
The master suite boasts an octagonal recessed ceiling and a glass-walled seating area. A hall with a mirrored dressing area and his-and-her walk-in closets connects the master suite to the master bath, which has two more dressing areas with vanities, garden tub and separate shower.
The 4,156-square-foot Oslo is a four-bedroom design with a second-floor bonus room. The kitchen boasts granite countertops, custom wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances. An adjoining breakfast area has a mitered-glass window overlooking the pool.
The 14-by-28-foot pool has a double-stepped spa with waterfalls that flow into the free form pool surrounded by pavers.
The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994.
More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the golf course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation areas.
The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space and are priced from the $400s to more than $2 million including homesite.
The Champions’ Club will feature a Mediterranean-style clubhouse that will provide a catered dining area, state-of-the-art workout facility with his-and-her locker facilities, a resort-style pool, sun deck, and tennis courts.
The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of Trinity, one of the largest communities of its kind in the Tampa Bay area. Trinity also is being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.
To reach The Champions’ Club from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north to Trinity Boulevard and turn right. (From points north, take Little Road south to Trinity Boulevard and turn left.) From Tampa, take the Suncoast Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.
