Grand opening set for $2.9 million Campagna estate
NOV. 6, 2007
TRINITY, FLA. – Campagna Homes will celebrate the grand opening of its $2.9 million, green-certified Villa Sorrento estate model at the gated village of Florencia in the golf course community of The Champions’ Club this weekend, Nov. 10-11.
Guests visiting the home at 9809 Milano Drive can register to win a round of golf for four at the 18-hole championship Fox Hollow Golf Course and a gift certificate to the club’s Tavern on the Green, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer. The model will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
The 5,763-square-foot Mediterranean-style home – boasting views of a lake and three fairways of the Fox Hollow Golf Course – provides five bedrooms and 5.5 baths.
Among its luxury features are a two-story, 20-foot-diameter rotunda in the foyer, accented by crown moldings, maple beams and ceiling panels, as well as a spiral staircase with stained oak treads and wrought-iron railings. The home also has an elevator.
There also is an octagonal office with handcrafted wood-ceiling details; a 400-bottle wine cellar; and a state-of-the-art media room. A two-story wall of windows in the home’s living room provides vistas of the lanai and resort-style pool with a spa to one side and a fire-pit island surrounded by a moat on the other side.
The master-suite wing – including a sitting area and lanai access – is detailed with dark hickory flooring and stained wood beams, while master bath appointments include marble surrounds for the garden tub and a glass-walled steam shower – with dual shower heads – that extends into a high-walled garden.
