Champions' Club starts work on $4M clubhouse

TRINITY, FLA. – The Champions’ Club announces that construction is under way on a $4 million, 10,000-square-foot clubhouse at this exclusive, gated golf-course community in southwest Pasco County.

The clubhouse’s Mediterranean-style architectural design is accented by a barrel-tile roof, a porte cochere and circular driveway, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer.

Designed by the architectural, planning and design firm of FleischmanGarcia (sic), the clubhouse also will incorporate extensive Tuscan stone columns, arched windows, vaulted and coffered pecky-cypress ceilings – accented by wrought-iron chandeliers – and travertine-stone floors.

Tall palms will surround the clubhouse and its pool deck – which will be shaded by cypress beams and trelliswork on stone columns. Landscape architect Phil Graham created the design.

Custom-designed gates at the driveway will lead to the clubhouse.

Accented by a covered rear terrace with views of the lawn and golf course, the clubhouse will provide a catered dining area, state-of-the-art fitness center – with his-and-her locker facilities including massage areas – and a social lounge. There will be two tennis courts, a heated 75-foot competition swimming pool, and community activities coordinated by a club concierge.

The Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club. The golf course is the last one designed and built by world-renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr.

More than half of this community’s 368 homesites will border the golf course, while many others will overlook lakes or heavily wooded conservation areas.

The Champions’ Club will comprise seven Mediterranean-themed villages. Homes in some villages must provide at least 2,700 square feet of living space, while other villages require homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet of living space. Residential pricing will range from the $400s to more than $2 million including homesite.

Homes in The Champions’ Club will be built by Bayfair, Campagna Homes, Costanza Homes, Greene Builders, M/I Homes, Nohl Crest Homes, Arthur Rutenberg Homes and Samuelsen Builders.

The Champions’ Club adjoins the $1.5 billion master-planned community of Trinity, also being developed by Adam Smith Enterprises.

To reach The Champions’ Club from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north to Trinity Boulevard and turn right. (From points north, take Little Road south to Trinity Boulevard and turn left.) From Tampa, take the Suncoast Parkway north to the State Road 54 exit and head west to Trinity Boulevard.
