SEPT. 24, 2007
TRINITY, FLA. – Campagna Homes has opened a green-certified, Mediterraneanstyle estate model priced at $2.7 million including a golf course homesite in the Florencia neighborhood at The Champions’ Club in southwest Pasco County.
The Villa Sorrento – offering views of a lake and three fairways of the Fox Hollow Golf Course – has 5,763 square feet of living space and provides five bedrooms and 5.5 baths, says Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises Inc., the community’s developer.
The two-story, 20-foot-diameter rotunda foyer – accented by plaster crown moldings, maple beams and ceiling panels – boasts a spiral staircase with stained oak treads and wrought-iron railings. The home also has an elevator.
The living room has a two-story wall of windows overlooking the lanai and resort-style pool with a spa to one side and a fire-pit island surrounded by a moat on the other side. A gallery off the living room leads to an island kitchen with custom carved trim and moldings, granite countertops, walk-in and butler pantries. The kitchen’s hickory flooring and stained beam ceiling are carried through the adjoining 20-by-24-foot family room. The master-suite wing features a sitting area and lanai access. It is detailed with dark hickory flooring, stained wood beams, plaster crown molding and custom-stained, knotty-alder entry and bedrooms doors. Master-bath appointments include marble countertops and floor, plus marble surrounds for the garden tub and steam shower with dual shower heads. His-and-her walk-in closets measure 10-by-12-feet and 11-by-12-feet. Among the other luxury features are a media room, game room, octagonal study and a 400-bottle wine cellar.
To reach The Champions’ Club welcome center from Pinellas County, take East Lake Road north to Trinity Boulevard, turn right and drive three miles to The Champions’ Club entrance on the right.
